wave develops, implements and maintains provincial protocols for the Infant Hearing Program (IHP).

IHP protocols provide evidence‑informed, standardized guidance to support consistent, high‑quality hearing screening, hearing assessment, surveillance, and hearing loss support services across Ontario.

These protocols help ensure that infants and children receive timely, coordinated care that supports early identification and management for permanent childhood hearing loss.
